Karachi user reports 13,000+ km Electric Bike usage
A social media user has shared real-world performance
details of an electric bike after months of continuous use, triggering active
discussion among electric two-wheeler users across Pakistan.
According to the post, the electric bike was used regularly
from February 2025 to December 2025, during which it covered more
than 13,000 kilometers. The user also shared an image of the bike’s digital
odometer showing both trip and total mileage, offering practical insight into
the vehicle’s long-term usage and durability.
Based on the shared figures, the bike averages approximately
40 kilometers of daily travel over around 11 months, reflecting consistent
real-world use. Many users described this as a strong performance for daily
commuting in Karachi’s urban conditions, with several comparing it
favorably to traditional 70cc petrol motorcycles, particularly in terms
of running costs and everyday practicality.
The post quickly attracted attention from both current and
prospective electric bike owners, with discussions focusing on battery
health, range stability over time, and overall reliability of electric
bikes under regular use in Pakistan.
In a related comment, another user from Safoora
Chowrangi, University Road, Karachi, shared his personal experience with
the same model. He stated that he has been using the electric bike since
February 2025 and has driven approximately 10,500 kilometers so far,
adding to the conversation around long-term electric bike ownership.
These real-life user experiences highlight the growing
interest in electric bikes and scooters across Pakistan, as consumers
increasingly prioritize practical performance, battery behavior, and
long-term reliability over brochure specifications when considering
electric mobility solutions.
