Armstrong rolls out first ‘Made in Pakistan’ Tyre

Armstrong ‘Made in Pakistan’ Tyre

Armstrong Tyres has officially launched its first locally manufactured tyre from its state-of-the-art production facility in Gharo, near Karachi. This milestone marks a significant achievement for both the company and Pakistan’s growing industrial sector.

The inaugural tyre, proudly labeled “Made in Pakistan,” rolled off the assembly line on September 9, 2025, symbolizing Armstrong’s commitment to domestic manufacturing and innovation. The Gharo plant is the company’s first manufacturing facility in Pakistan and represents a major investment in the region’s economy, technology, and employment opportunities.

“We are proud to witness our first local produced tyre coming to life,” said a company spokesperson.

“This is not just a product milestone, but a symbol of our long-term commitment to Pakistan’s industrial growth.”

The launch is expected to boost local employment and reduce dependency on imported tyres, aligning with the government’s “Make in Pakistan” initiative aimed at strengthening local industries. The plant in Gharo is equipped with advanced machinery and international quality control systems, ensuring that the tyres meet global standards.

Industry experts see Armstrong’s move as a positive signal for further foreign investment in Pakistan’s manufacturing sector. The local production is also likely to improve supply chain efficiencies and make quality tyres more affordable for consumers.
