Pakistan’s electric two-wheeler industry recorded robust growth in 2025, driven by rising consumer demand, expanding local manufacturing, and a rapidly widening brand landscape. According to data compiled by MOBILE WORLD Magazine, total production of electric scooters and motorbikes from January to December 2025 reached 111,844 units, underlining the sector’s growing role in the country’s mobility ecosystem.

Electric scooters dominated the market, accounting for 105,121 units, or nearly 94 percent of total production. In contrast, electric motorbikes stood at 6,723 units, representing around 6 percent of overall output. This clear preference highlights the increasing popularity of scooters for daily urban commuting due to their affordability, ease of use, and lower running costs.

Pakistan’s Electric Scooter Market Rises on Strong Local Demand

The industry’s scale is reflected in the presence of 64 companies operating under 70 different brands, collectively offering around 145 electric scooter models and 55 electric motorbike models across Pakistan. Among power categories, 1000W models emerged as the most popular, capturing 48 percent of the market, indicating strong demand for balanced performance and energy efficiency.

The infographic also showcases a diverse lineup of active electric two-wheeler brands, including well-known names such as Evee, United, Hi Speed, Revoo, Okla, Honda, Yadea, Metro, Ramza, Unique, TailG, Luyuan, Aima, Orevo, and several others, reflecting healthy competition and consumer choice.

In terms of market highlights, best-selling products and trends in 2025 included Evee Gen-Z 1000W, United Bullet 2000W, Okla-OKT Lithium-ion scooters, as well as models powered by graphene batteries and LiFePO4 (LFP) battery technology. Public sector initiatives also played a role in shaping demand, with programmes such as the Sindh Government Pink Scooty scheme and the Federal Govt's PAVE Scheme contributing to wider adoption, especially among women and youth.

Overall, the 2025 performance signals a maturing electric two-wheeler market in Pakistan, supported by local assembly, technology diversification, and supportive policies. With rising fuel costs and increasing focus on sustainable transport, the electric scooter segment, in particular, is expected to remain the primary growth driver in the years ahead.
