PAVE Sets December 20 Deadline for Self-Finance EV Applicants

An important notification has been issued for all applicants of the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) Scheme (Phase 1) who are registered under the subsidized Self-Finance Electric Vehicle (EV) Scheme, emphasizing that December 20, 2025, is the final deadline to submit the required Pay Order or Demand Draft.

According to the official notice, this deadline is strictly applicable to self-finance applicants who wish to continue availing benefits under the government-backed EV subsidy program. Applicants who fail to submit the required payment instrument by the stated date will be considered not interested in proceeding with the scheme.

As a consequence of non-compliance, the authorities have made it clear that the allocated EV slots of defaulting applicants will be cancelled without further notice. These cancelled slots will then be reassigned to the next eligible applicants on the waiting list, ensuring transparency and efficient utilization of available subsidies.

The Self-Finance Scheme aims to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles by offering significant financial incentives. Under the program, subsidies include up to Rs. 80,000 for 2-wheeler electric vehicles and up to Rs. 400,000 for 3-wheeler electric vehicles, making EV ownership more affordable for the public.

PAVE has urged all concerned applicants to complete their payment process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues and ensure confirmation of their EV allocation. The support team reiterated that no extensions will be granted, and timely submission is essential to retain eligibility under the scheme.
