competitive pricing, the Sportage L promises to redefine the SUV experience in
Pakistan.
Lucky Motor Corporation has also
provided detailed instructions regarding the booking and delivery process for
the all-new Sportage L. Below are the key points:
- The booking of all-new Sportage L will start along with price announcement and booking amount on 6th of February 2025. We urge customers not to make any payment instrument before 6th February 2025.
- A booking will be considered confirmed only upon issuance of a system generated PBO from LMC (Provisional Booking Order) duly signed by the customer. Any booking/order without a system generated PBO / not signed by the customer will be considered invalid and non-binding for LMC.
- On or after 6th of February 2025, all payments should be deposited in company's National Collection System (NCS) accounts through dealership channels in the name of Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) on A/C of [Customer Name]. LMC will not be responsible for any payment made other than NCS and/or payment made directly to any individual or any other company or dealership account.
- To ensure that only genuine customers are able to secure the desired booking, only 1 booking can be made per CNIC. The name on the PBO/CNIC should match with the name on payment instrument. Any discrepancies may result in cancellation of the booking at LMC's own discretion.
- The tentative delivery month mentioned on the PBO shall not be construed as a guaranteed delivery month/date. The tentative Delivery month mentioned on the PBO can be affected due to factors such as production constraints, supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, and force majeure events. LMC will not be responsible for any verbal assurances for deliveries, written communications/commitments from any party other than LMC, or any other form of intimation from any party. The tentative delivery month mentioned on the PBO or in case of any delays in deliveries, official and expressed communication about the revised delivery month by LMC shall be final.
- Booking and delivery shall be entertained on a first-come, first-served basis only.
However, the announcement has
sparked some online debate. Netizens have expressed concerns about the lack of
a guaranteed delivery date, with some even claiming that it implies customers
should "pay and forget about the delivery." Another common question
is why dealers are asking for an additional Rs 5 lac on top of the vehicle’s
price. These issues have raised eyebrows and generated considerable discussion
online.
Despite the excitement surrounding the launch, these concerns highlight the need for clear communication regarding delivery timelines and dealer practices.
