SHC issues Notice to Millat Tractor in Contempt of Court Case, orders explanation for next hearing

The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued a notice to a Millat tractor for allegedly failing to provide details on 954 tractors as required. The court had previously prohibited the sale of these tractors to any third party because the manufacturer was contractually obligated to sell them to the original buyer. The company was supposed to submit information about the tractors, including their model, chassis, and engine numbers, to the court.

In response to the contempt of court proceedings against the Millat tractor, the SHC has called on the company to explain its actions at the next hearing scheduled for September 2, 2024.
